Product updates! Steel, ESD, and Endless Exploration

Here's the Endless Exploration update I promised:

March's Endless Exploration is in the mail! Nearby customers may have already received it. It was challenging, but we (Dustin in great part) pulled it off! Dustin's commitment to babysitting and cleaning our extrusion equipment made PK-CF and PK-GF possible.

Thank you Dustin for your willingness to trying new things and tenacity to see them through, especially when they are difficult! In fact, the whole team was flexible, helping make this delivery possible. We hope you find it interesting. More about it in our latest blog entry...

A couple other updates:

The ESD blog and datasheets are updated to include resistivity in ohms/sq units and reference relevant standards for packaging (excerpt below). If already familiar with printing ESD filaments from other manufacturers, you may also be surprised how conductive and easy-to-print Protopasta ESD filaments are in comparison to other ESD filaments.

Also, by request, we added 2 kg spools of PLA-ESD. Want to buy larger spools of ESD filaments? Feel free to purchase from stock or contact us if what you need is not available.

​Protopasta Stainless Steel is gaining magnetic properties as we switch from 300 to 400 series stainless. Batches made on and after February 27th are now magnetic (and no longer contain nickel), just like our new steel colors and iron. Find all in our metals collection.
